Lake effect snow showers off the lake across the Buffalo metro northeastward will continue during Wednesday, resulting in some possible light snow accumulations. A few on and off snow showers overnight will accompany a cold front as drops southward through the region. Leftover snow showers settle south of the city before ending Thursday morning.
There is another potential window for snow from Saturday night into at least Sunday morning of this upcoming weekend. It now appears as though there will be little impact across the Niagara Frontier, with the best chance of an accumulating light snowfall south and east of a line from Warsaw to Allegany State Park. We will continue to track this storm through the remainder of the week.
